Self-adjusting Bushing Holder
The perfect combination of reduced retooling times and increased productivity is achieved with the self-adjusting front bushing holder. There is no longer a need to manually replace the front bushing pair when changing bar formats. Instead, simply enter the bar diameter and shape on the operator panel, and the bushings automatically adapt to the bar and pusher. This simplifies the process and reduces operator intervention.
With BOSS Superfast+, retooling times for adjusting the bar feeder to new diameters and formats are minimized, ensuring continuous, uninterrupted production.
Additionally, thanks to the self-adjusting bushing holder, the bar guiding system on BOSS Superfast+ is highly precise and efficient. The self-adjusting V-shaped bushings perfectly adapt to the bar diameter, eliminating excess play. During machining, the bushing holder opens automatically to adjust to the bar pusher diameter - a function that can be conveniently activated from the operator panel.
The additional guiding point, which adapts to both the bar and bar pusher diameters, significantly reduces vibrations during machining, resulting in an overall improvement in production performance.
